Hayat Brown Infrastructure Investment and Development, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hayat Brown, LLC, is a minority female-owned and controlled alternative real estate investor and developer that leverages public-private partnerships to design, build, finance, and maintain infrastructure projects in urban areas. We align the financial capital of our social impact investors and debt providers with the design, construction, and operating expertise of our design-build and facility maintenance partners to deliver complex infrastructure assets for public and institutional owners faster, more reliably, and more cost-effectively than traditional methods.
Through decades of experience serving as transaction and technical advisors to public and institutional owners, Hayat Brown understands the unique challenges institutions face in delivering complex infrastructure assets equitably, on time and on budget. We also understand the need to avoid the deferred maintenance that inevitably undermines an asset’s useful life. Hayat Brown Infrastructure Investment & Development, in conjunction with our partners, offers institutional owners a tailored alternative to address these challenges.
OUR PEOPLE
Our team of P3 experts have advised on and delivered public-private, alternative financing, and performance-based delivery strategies and transactions that monetize or recycle underutilized real estate assets, as well as result in capital improvements for aging assets. Our work results in revenue generation, cost reduction, and elimination of deferred maintenance, while improving quality of life while promoting economic development, community revitalization, and job creation.
Hayat Brown’s P3 & Real Estate Advisory team worked in partnership with the City of Falls Church, VA to advise and manage a public-private partnership that would unlock value from city-owned land to fund critical education infrastructure and deliver transformative mixed-use development.
